METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF LIME MILK FOR SUGAR CONTAINING SOLUTIONS PURIFICATION Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC C13D3/02 

FIELD: sugar industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to sugar industry, in particular to technology of lime-carbon dioxide purification of sugar containing solutions. Method includes lime slaking with water in ratio of 100 weight fractions of lime to 105-115 weight fractions of water until lime is fully hydrated and lime paste is prepared, which is further cooled and mixed with thin juice with temperature of 40-55°C. Lime milk is cleaned from unslaked particles at vibrating sieve and hydraulic cyclones. Unslaked particles separated at vibrating sieve are washed with water in amount of 1-5% to weight of quick lime, and prepared sweet water is mixed with lime milk supplied to hydraulic cyclones.

EFFECT: prevention of sugar decay in the process of lime milk preparation and improved lime milk quality.
