FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: method of production of lime milk for cleaning of sugar-containing solutions provides for lime slaking with sugar-containing solution to the preset density of suspension. Prior to slaking, unslaked lime is mixed with water, having a temperature of 80 to 95 C in a relation of 100 portions of lime and 62 to 100 portions of water, until a loose free-flowing compound is obtained, with its subsequent cooling. For slaking use is made of a sugar-containing solution with a content of saccharose - 0.5 to 15 % at a temperature of 60 to 85 C, the process is being conducted at cooling to a temperature of 80 to 85 C. The obtained suspension is subjected to cleaning of unslaked particles. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
