FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves extinguishing lime with water and providing hydrodynamic cavitation activation of lime suspension; simultaneously with activation, providing disintegration of undistinguished lime to sizes of colloid particles in rotary cavitation activator. Lime is extinguished to suspension density of 1.14-1.15 g/cu.cm. Circulation rate of suspension flow in rotary cavitation activator is at least 15 m/s.
