FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 2.0-2.5; silicon 1.0-1.5; manganese 2.0-2.5; chromium 5.0-6.0; copper 1.5-2.0; aluminium 0.1-0.2; phosphorus 0.05-0.1; sulphur 0.05-0.1; titanium 0.1-0.2; molybdenum 0.4-0.8; nickel 0.8-1.2; zirconium 0.1-0.2; barium 0.05-0.1; niobium 0.2-0.4, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: upgraded wear resistance of iron.
