SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 2.0-2.5; silicon 1.0-1.5; manganese 0.5-1.0; copper 0.3-0.5; niobium 0.3-0.5; aluminium 0.1-0.2; molybdenum 3.0-4.0; vanadium 0.3-0.5; boron 0.03-0.05; magnesium 0.03-0.05; yttrium 0.03-0.05, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: upgraded hardness of iron.
