FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to high-voltage pin-type organosilicone insulators for overhead electric transmission lines (OETL) designed for voltages mainly of 6-35 kV. Pin-type insulator contains dielectric body with ribs and place for wire attachment. Dielectric body is made of organosilicone rubber and end terminal for mounting on bridge dowel. End terminal can be performed as heat-shrinkage socket.
EFFECT: improvement of operating reliability, simplification of design and installation, and reduction of insulator manufacturing cost.
