FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: locomotive converter of auxiliaries contains two identical input converters connected in series to terminals for connecting to one-phase alternating-current source. Each input converter contains constant voltage pulse up-converter (VPC), rectifier, between rectifier and VPC the reactance is connected, filter condenser and resonant LC-filter are connected to VPC output, each of VPCs contains two connected in series gate arms consisting of transistor modules IGBT. Transistor modules are connected by emitter to negative phase of load circuit, and by collector - to "positive" circuit of load power supply. Diodes are connected by their anodes to collector circuit of each VPC, cathodes of diodes and emitters of IGBT modules are connected to segment of constant voltage which is connected in parallel to VPC output terminals. Output of constant voltage segment is connected in parallel to several (at least two) three-phase independent voltage inverters for feeding mainly three-phase loads.

EFFECT: widening of converter functionality by lowering the loading of semiconductor devices and arrangement of individual channels for load feeding.
