SUBSTANCE: swath maker has a means of transportation, angular frame with sections of working organs hinge to it, made in form of skewed fruit moving planks and joined to road wheels, fitted behind the fruit moving planks. Each fruit moving plank is hinged to the angular frame using driver pins. The height of mounting fruit moving planks over the ground surface is determined from the relationship h=0.22d_av, where d_av is the average diameter of the selected fruits. The width of the fruit moving planks is determined from the relationship b=1.1d_av, its length is calculated from the expression l=3.5d_av. The installation angle of the fruit moving planks to the horizontal is equal to 65...70°. The installation angle of the fruit moving planks in the direction of motion is within the limits of 40...45°. The fruit moving plank is fixed by a spring shock absorber to the angular frame.

EFFECT: reduced number of damaged fruits and possibility of making a swath of fruits of different diameter.
