SUBSTANCE: method includes treatment of dried collagen casing with water solution of at least one salt that has been selected from the group, which includes sodium bicarbonate, sodium sulfate, ammonia chloride, calcium chloride, sodium acid phosphate, potassium acid phosphate, potassium chloride, ammonia sulfate, at that total concentration of salts in water solution is in range of 5 - 18 weight %.

EFFECT: increase of casing strength and resistance to thermal treatment.
