FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and may be used in fodder production. The method includes original raw material milling, adding a conserving agent to it, compression, hermetisation and storage. The original raw material used is green material of the fescue (fescue genus) grain crop. The conserving agent is represented by an anolyte of an electrically activated water solution of sodium acetate with a concentration of 6 grams per litre with pH = 4.0-4.5, ORP+750-+850 mV; oxidant content in terms of active oxygen = 7-15 mg/l, the agent consumption rate being 8 -11 g per 1 kg of green material.
EFFECT: usage of the invention allows to reduce corrosive activity of the conserving agent.
