FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: range of sizes of endosteal pressure and their average values at different stages of disease are determined. Then the values obtained are compared with the standard values of endosteal pressure. If the pressure totals to 6-11.9 millimeters of mercury, the diagnosis is compensated stage of disease; if the pressure totals to 12-16.9 millimeters of mercury, the diagnosis is subcompensated stage of disease; with the pressure exceeding 17 millimeters of mercury the diagnosis decompensated stage of degenerative dystrophic process in the knee joint.
EFFECT: specifying and measuring the degenerative dystrophic changes at different stages of knee joint osteoarthrosis; increased subjectivity of the information obtained and defining method for treatment.
