SUBSTANCE: presence of risk factors is determined, e.g. psycho emotional stress, unfavourable heredity, i.e. female close relatives with hypertension younger than 65 years old and male close relatives with hypertension younger than 55 years old; dislipidemy, i.e. increased amount of cholesterol, triglycerides and β-lipoproteins; age, i.e. males older than 55 years old, females older than 65 years old; hypodynamia, head injuries in anamnesis. Every factor is estimated as 1 point, its absence being 0 points. The risk factor (A) is calculated from the formula: A=0.176+0.576• stress +0.134• heredity +0.101• dislipidemy +0.093• age +0.129• hypodynamia +0.112• head injuries and, with index totaling 0.176-0.558 nominal units, low risk of hypertension emergence, 0.557 to 0.939 -average, 0.940 to 1.321 - high risk.

EFFECT: simple, informative and easy method for predicting emergence of arterial hypertension.
