SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to clinical cardiology, it is intended for complex assessment of cardiovascular risk with determination of target levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (hereinafter – LDL CHS) and correction of lipid-lowering therapy. A clinical examination of the patient is performed; a hereditary anamnesis and anamnesis of the disease are collected. The probability of familial hypercholesterolemia is determined. In the case of a high probability, a genetic analysis is performed; all the indicators are entered in a summary table with an appropriate point assigned to each parameter. The sum of points is calculated, followed by the calculation of the cardiovascular risk, the determination of the risk of life-threatening cardiovascular complications in the next 10 years, the determination of the target level of LDL CHS and its achievement of the patient, based on which the correction of lipid-lowering therapy is carried out.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the accuracy of determining the risk of cardiovascular complications and the possibility of selecting individual lipid-lowering therapy.
