FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out laser keratomilosis in situ under general anesthesia for correcting ametropia with cornea cover diameter equal to 9.5 mm. Muscle recession is carried out in hyperfunction state after returning cornea cover to its place and fixing soft lens being placed on mean squint angle from 10 to 15'-20' after Hirschberg. Next, muscle resection is carried out in hypofunction state. Recession and resection value is equal to 4 or 5 mm from limb. 8 mm long conjunctiva and Tenon's capsule incision is done in parallel to the limb.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in eliminating squint and restoring binocular vision; reduced risk of postoperative complications.
