FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method includes magnetic-gravitational separation with application of the magnetic sluice, classification of the concentrate obtained, magnetic separation and drying. Classification is conducted by selecting grain class 0.5-0.1 mm, which is subject to magnetic separation by means of permanent magnet with the yield of magnetic and non-magnetic products; next non-magnetic products are enriched by electro-magnetic separation with low- and low-intensity fields.
EFFECT: ilmenite is extracted in high intensity electro-magnetic fraction.
