FIELD: mining industry; methods of benefication of the titaniferous magnetite ores.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to method of benefication of the titaniferous magnetite ores and allows to raise the quality of the iron-vanadium concentrate due to increasing in it of the mass share of the iron at the simultaneous reduction of the mass share of the titanium dioxide. The method provides for reduction of the source ore up to the coarseness of 6-0 mm, then conduct the dry magnetic separation of the source reduced ore in the heterogeneous magnetic field, in which in the direction of the ore flow there are the formed three areas with the decreasing magnetic field intensity in them in compliance with the extremal dependence on the magnetic field intensity. In first area of the magnetic field its maximum intensity is set equal to 128-136 kA, and in the second and third areas the maximal intensity is sequentially reduced concerning the first area in the ratio of 1:0.88:0.81. The produced iron-vanadium concentrate is additionally reduced up to coarseness of 0.03-0 mm in the solution of the liquid glass with concentration of 0.08-0.1 % and then conduct the repeated cleaning of the concentrate.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the improved quality of the iron-vanadium concentrate, the increased mass share of the iron at the simultaneous reduction of the mass share of the titanium dioxide in the iron-vanadium concentrate.
