FIELD: constructional engineering.

SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to polymer guard rail which includes column, array of guard plates attached to the column and connectors for junction of guard plates. Each guard plate is manufactured by extrusion. The guard plate contains hollow base body wave-shaped in cross-section, including backward-projecting back flange having flat part and protruding front flange. The flat part of the back flange and the front flange are provided with the first and second mounting holes. The base body has blind areas for reinforcing sections with furnished the first and second mounting holes. The guard plate also contains corrugated edges in hollow part of the base body designed to join the upper and lower ends of the base body. Note, corrugated edges are cross shaped the same way as the base body. Also, the guard panel contains alternately mounted horizontal edges designed for junction of corrugated edges and internal surfaces of the base body.

EFFECT: improved reliability of structure and buff absorptivity without application of additional absorbing facilities.
