FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling and overhaul of wells. The device has a hollow case with a nose piece and radial grooves in which cutters are mounted with cutting face reinforced with hard alloy; springs in the shape of curved plates that press the cutters inward. The springs are supported by case steps and are provided with recesses for the case lock strip. The device has also pistons, inserted into other radial grooves arranged over the perimeter with a possibility of outward axial displacement. Other radial grooves are made in cylindrical sockets, which are fitted tightly with a possibility of rotation on the case. Other radial grooves are interconnected with the internal cavity of the case. The pistons are spring-loaded inward and the outward displacement is restricted. The exposed surface of the pistons is notched. The invention provides enlarged technological opportunities, the increase of reliability and durability.
EFFECT: enlarged technological opportunities of the device for cutting grooves, increased reliability and durability.
