FIELD: constructional engineering.
SUBSTANCE: to reduce time required for testing impregnation depth directly on concrete articles, method of concrete impregnation quality test is offered consisting in parameter measurement using related device. Capacitive reactance of concrete article is used as measurement parameter. Impregnation is detected either by comparing of capacitive reactances measured in several points along concrete article length, or by premade diagram of impregnation depth dependence from capacitive reactance measured in prefabricated and impregnated samples of the composition identical to that of tested concrete article. To simplify impregnation depth measurements directly on concrete article the device for concrete impregnation quality detection is proposed including measuring bridge, visualisation indicator and power supply. Additionally, it contains high-frequency AC voltage generator, remote sensor, AC-to-DC bridge unbalance voltage transducer, operational amplifiers, visualisation indicator, and variable resistance for indicator sensitivity adjustment. Remote sensor is made in the form of two equally-spaced noncorrosive conducting plates of the same area, and mounted as one measuring bridge arm.
EFFECT: reduction of time required for testing impregnation depth directly on concrete articles.
