FIELD: otorhinolaryngology. SUBSTANCE: audio signal with power 70-80 dB and vibration frequency 1000 Hz is imposed on nasal cavity through metal sound conduit made in the form of catheter 3 mm in diameter and 100 mm long. Sound conduit is inserted into nasal cavity at the level of lower turbinated bone toward back wall followed by withdrawal by 10-15 mm backward. Sound signal is detected in outside acoustic passage by means of otoscope hermetically installed therein and then aerodynamic estimation is done. EFFECT: increased reliability in determining ventilation function of auditory tube and allowed one-stage comparative estimation of practicability of the two tubes. 2 dwg
