DIAGNOSTICS METHOD OF ACOUSTICAL PIPE DISEASES Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61B5/12

Abstract RU 2342072 C1

FIELD: medicine; otorhinolaryngology.

SUBSTANCE: measurement of nasopharyngeal pressure at gradual increase of pressure in nasopharynx is carried out at consecutive performance of functional tests of permeability of the acoustical pipe: tests with a drink, Toynbee's test, Vasiliev tests, and in addition air passage along the acoustical pipe is defined by change of the compliance of tympano-osicullary systems by means of acoustic impedansometer in Decay Reflex Test regime with the disconnected or subthreshold stimulation, and the nasopharyngeal pressure registered at the moment of change of the compliance of tympano-osicullary systems is marked as pressure of disclosing of the acoustical pipe and at value of acoustical pipe opening pressure of more than 450 mm H2O the acoustical pipe disease is diagnosed whose expression degree is proportional to the measured pressure.

EFFECT: method is simple, safe, allows to diagnose dysfunction of acoustical pipe authentically.
