FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used for diagnosis of pathology of the auditory tube. Ventilation function of the auditory tube is examined by functional samples. Inspection of the cartilaginous part takes place due to the lowering of the tubular roller, thereby opening the mouth of the auditory tube. Examination is carried out in several stages: endoscopic examination, performance of functional tests with video fixation: Lutzer otoscope samples, Toynbee test, Valsalva test and determination of auditory tube opening time and degree.
EFFECT: method provides higher quality of diagnosing patients, determining various pathological conditions of auditory tube, nasopharynx and tympanic cavity and determining a therapeutic approach: conservative or surgical by using a complex of the most significant studies of the auditory tube.
