FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to rolling-mill production. Measurement and control of planeness and/or stresses in steel strip or foil of stainless steel in cold rolling are carried out in multirolled mill, which has at least one control circuit for location pieces, which provides accurate measurement and control. Defects of planeness are detected by means of comparison of stresses vector with preset comparative curve. Then modification of planeness defects along the strip width in analysis unit is described and separated into separate vectors of stresses, which are described by actual values that are sent to corresponding control modules for control of location pieces.

EFFECT: increase of accuracy of stresses control.
