FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: device is intended for preparation of article for welding and contains base, facilities for installation and fastening of cutting tool, which are installed on both sides of flat metal article, mechanism that supplies article and is installed in front of device. To expand technological resources, it is equipped with mechanism of article pressing in its middle portion and two mechanisms of article pressing in the zone of its edges processing. Base is arranged in the form of top and bottom plates, between which there is flat metal article installed with the possibility of longitudinal movement.
EFFECT: expansion of technological resources of device for processing of metal article longitudinal edges.
