FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method involves drilling of uphole electrode and production well rows from lateral drifts located under the stratum, simultaneous feeding of current and weak salt electrolyte solution to the reservoir over electrode wells, and oil extrusion along the whole bed strike in the direction of lower production wells. Lateral level drifts are driven between ventilation holes in the reservoir dome and ground, parallel down-dip well rows are drilled over the whole level area at 5 m distance from each other and at 5-10 m distance from the reservoir, and fed with booster water at the pressure higher by 1-2 atmospheres than that of metal solvent fed to the reservoir simultaneously with electric current in the form of dissolved HCl or H2SO4 acid of 1.5-5% concentration. At the border between area side levels being processed or prepared dummy shafts are driven vertically upwards from edge workings and jointed together in the reservoir dome and ground by drill drifts of underlying level. Exhaust air flow discharge from the drill drifts of underlying levels is performed by ventilation holes, air being supplied to them via border ventilation linkages of overlying levels.

EFFECT: maximum metal extraction from empty rock during underground oil winning and protection of side reservoir rock from acid metal solvents penetration.
