FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: sail representing a half-cylinder rotor is made up of a rigid open-work frame with a chino canvas attached thereto. The said open-work frame comes as a bearing carcass of a four-face pyramid with the base and height sizes complying with the half-cylinder overall sizes, while the aforesaid canvas represents a half-cylinder made integral with the end face plates and is designed to be attached to the rigid open-work frame. Note that the said open-work frame is furnished with the chino fastening points at the pyramid apexes and can be fastened at the pyramid base points.
EFFECT: higher efficiency thanks to sail crease on the carcass in sail against the wind.
