FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: valve incorporates a body with inlet and outlet channels. The body houses two gate valves linked to a driven con-rod. The first gate valve represents a multipurpose valve with a hollow shaped plunger arranged ahead of the sealing element streamwise. The plunger outer diameter mates the seat inner diameter. The second gate valve represents a shut-off valve with its outer stages mating the body stages. The seat accommodates a flow separator representing a perforated sleeve enveloping the smaller diameter stage of the stepped sleeve. The total perforated sleeve holes area cannot be less than the smallest area of the passage formed by the hollow shaped plunger and the seat.

EFFECT: lower noise, higher reliability and longer life.
