FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: within the reception channel of pulse Doppler radars, including chopping, optimal filtering and incoherent integration, when incoherent integration follows amplitude detection within analysis running window, the signals are processed as follows: the first weighting according to weight factor calculation law that is inversely proportional to the law describing antenna pattern; pairwise two minimum selection of weighed signals in adjacent taps of running window; the second weighting from outputs of two minimum selections where weight factor calculation law is directly proportional to square of the law describing antenna pattern; summation following the second weighting.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of processing as a result of false alarm probability reduction.
