SUBSTANCE: invention relates to Pulse-Doppler (PD) RS methods of primary measurements of range to detected targets. Said result is achieved by using in PD RS in addition to main linear frequency modulation (LFM) of carrier frequency of quasi-continuous signal of auxiliary high-speed intrapulse LFM quasi-continuous signal in combination with intrapulse cosine-square modulation of probing packages, and during reception and processing of additive mixture of target and interference echo signals using instead of traditional intra-period blanking of echo-signals in key mode of smoothed cosine-square their blanking, as well as intrapulse weight processing and filter compression of LFM pulses of received echo-signals for increase in their porosity during subsequent multichannel correlation-filtering processing. This provides standard for PD RS effective Doppler selection of targets on the background of PJ with preservation of possibility of their primary range finding in one or two probing cycles.
EFFECT: high noise-immunity of primary range finding of the detected single or non-resolved by the angle and speed group of range-distributed targets, which are previously detected against a background of intense passive jamming (PJ) with locally concentrated energy spectrum, for example reflections from underlying earth surface, local objects and low-speed meteorological formations.
