FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: thermoelectric massager contains massaging elements made in the form of rolls mounted on axis to perform free rotation. To one end of the axis a rod-like handle is attached in console way by means of L- shaped element; the handle is located perpendicularly to axis at equal distance from both end massaging elements. Massaging elements are made so as to change their temperatures and are installed in alternating way in order "cold - hot". The axis accommodates thermoelectric module, with its cold joints being in heat contact with one contact plate, while hot joints are connected with other contact plate. Contact plates have such form that only one contact plate is. In heat contact with each massaging element, the other being insulated with heat insulation. Circuits of power supply to thermoelectric module are located in rod-like handle, heat-insulating washer being mounted on ends of massaging elements.
EFFECT: simpler design and increased efficiency of massage.
