SUBSTANCE: device includes a roll with grooves and a roll with nips forming operation gauges, with a matrix installed at their outlet. The gauges are closed and positioned symmetrically against vertical roll axis and rolling axis. Opposite side surfaces of the gauges are formed by different rolls and are equidistant from rolling axes and roll rotation axes. The number of gauges should be even and not less than two.
