FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: installation for continuous casting, rolling and pressing of metal includes a mixer furnace (1), an electromagnetic mould (2) with a feeder (3), a deforming unit, a straightening setting device, a cooling device (10), a universal rolling stand (11) and a device (12) for winding the product. The deforming unit consists of a roll (5) with a shoulder and a roll (6) with a groove, having cavities for cooling and forming a closed box calibre, covered at the exit by a matrix (7) with a calibrating hole and wedge-shaped cavities (8) for its cooling, pressed against rolls using a hydraulic cylinder (9). At the same time, the width of the gap of the roll with a groove of the deforming unit is greater than the diameter of the original workpiece d₀ by 5-15%, and the height of the ridge (h_r) of the roll with the shoulder is calculated by the formula h_r=δ+d₀-(0.25πd₀²/b), where δ is the gap between roll barrels, mm, d₀ – workpiece diameter, mm, b – width of the gap of the roll with a groove, mm.

EFFECT: stability of the metal extrusion process is ensured by filling the calibre with metal during rolling.
