SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at a following ratio, mass %: carbon 2.5-3.0; silicon 1.7-2.3; manganese 0.5-1.0; chromium 0.5-1.0; nickel 1.7-2.3; molybdenum 0.3-0.5; titanium 0.1-0.2; copper 4.5-5.5; aluminium 2.0-2.5; zirconium 0.05-0.1; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: upgraded erosion resistance of iron in aluminium melt.
