FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: meter of output acoustic capacity has the surface of connection to transducer working surface, contains solid body for absorption of acoustic capacity, which is installed behind connection surface in direction by normal to this surface, temperature sensor, which is installed inside solid body. Meter is arranged with the possibility to obtain value of acoustic capacity by measured rate of solid body heating. Besides, meter contains disassembly device for its connection to transducer casing, as well as elastic element, which is installed between connection device and connection surface, and device for its altered deformation, at that solid body is made of magnetostrictive metal alloy and in direction by normal to connection surface. Moreover, meter is made with the possibility of registration of altering acoustic capacity absorbed in solid body until it reaches maximum. Method is suggested for measurement of output capacity of ultrasonic transducer with application of above-mentioned device.

EFFECT: creation of efficient method of measurement of output capacity of ultrasonic transducer.
