FIELD: ultrasonic technique, possibly different types of ultrasonic devices used in metallurgical, nuclear and radio electronic industry branches.
SUBSTANCE: ultrasound-transmitting device includes magnetostrictive converter and ultrasonic oscillation concentrator. The last is made of ceramic material on base of beryllium oxide. Large-diameter end of concentrator is connected with end of converter through double-layer film whose first layer is made of metallizing paste on base of molybdenum and whose second layer is made of nickel.
EFFECT: lowered losses at transmitting ultrasound energy in wide temperature range, improved chemical and thermal stability of device.
