FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to highly efficient liquid chromatography (HELC), namely to methods of determination of residual silanol activity of inverted-phase chromatographic sorbents and may be used in practice of scientific research laboratories and pharmaceutical enterprises. Method of determination of residual silanol activity of inverted-phase chromatographic sorbents is based on determination of time of test-substance retention by method of highly efficient liquid chromatography. As test-substance diphenhydramine hydrochloride is used, time of retention of which is determined at two concentrations of potassium phosphate monosubstituted in mobile phase, corresponding coefficients of capacitance are calculated, as well as value a, which is positive in sign with availability of sorbent residual silanol activity and the more by absolute value, the more is residual silanol activity. Invention provides reduction of time required for determination of residual silanol activity.
EFFECT: reduction of time required for determination of residual silanol activity of inverted-phase chromatographic sorbents.
