FIELD: liquid chromatography.
SUBSTANCE: method involves quantitative estimation of polypharmaceutical drug components by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet spectrophotometric detector and reverse-phase chromatographic column in the mode of linear mobile-phase acetonitrile concentration gradient for the time of analysis. The mobile phase is a mix of acetonitrile with phosphate buffer. For analysis of anti-cold antiallergic drug containing ascorbic acid, paracetamol, pheniramine maleate and phenylephrine hydrochloride, 0.1% solution of orthophosphoric acid with added 5 volume % of acetonitrile is used as a solvent to the sample, detection conducted at wavelength of 273 nm.
EFFECT: higher stability of ascorbic acid and total separation of its peaks from the peaks of minor substances.
