FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to facilities of seismic survey. Support plate in composition of two bases with inertial masses is installed on ground. At least in relation to one base inertial mass is movable and presses base to ground, without prevention of its horizontal motion. Specified base is arranged with the possibility of bending, with mass that is tens and hundreds times less than inertial mass. The latter provides frequency of setup resonance that is higher than frequencies of working range. Contracting force is applied to bases, mechanically stressed condition of soil is created, and unloading is carried out. Two identical horizontally differently directed forces are applied to bases, or contracting force is applied to bases via inertial body with elastic element with realisation of directed horizontal force, which provides radiation with maximum of vertical downward direction. Mass of inertial body and rigidity of damped elastic element are such so that own frequency of inertial body vibrations is less than working range of frequencies.
EFFECT: achievement of high frequencies of working range; increase of quality of impact repetition; possibility of works performance on weak soils; improvement of radiation direction characteristic.
