FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to circuitry automatics and is designed to expand performances of the procedure of gathering data on faulty operation of the automatic load transfer (ALT) station supplied from the busses of two-transformer substation in case the standby line controllers incorporate the automatic reclosure (ARC) devices. For this, at the instant the first short-circuit in-rush current originates at the transformer busses of the main power source, time reckoning is started, the time being equal to the ARC sectionalising switch no-current condition duration and the sectionalising switch being mounted at the standby line adjacent to the ALT station. The said time reckoning over, the origination of the second in-rush short-circuit current across the main power source transformer busses is controlled. If this short-circuit in-rush current originates at the instant the time reckoning is over, the time reckoning is started , the time being equal to the ALT station cut-in time delay. The said time reckoning over, origination of the in-rush short-circuit current across the standby power source transformer busses is controlled. If the said current does originate, it indicates a faulty operation of the ALT station controller.
EFFECT: expanded performances of circuitry automatics.
