FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric circuitry automatics. The proposed method consists in recording the short-circuit in-rush current states and measuring time intervals between them. Note here that at the instant the first short-circuit in-rush current originates at the transformer busses of the main power source, time reckoning is started, the time being equal to the ARC sectionalising switch no-current condition duration and the sectionalising switch being mounted at the standby line adjacent to the ALT station, and, also, the time reckoning is started, the time being equal to the ARC sectionalising switch no-current condition duration and the sectionalising switch being mounted at the standby line adjacent to the ALT station. Both aforesaid time reckonings over, the origination of the second in-rush short-circuit current across the main power source transformer busses is controlled. If this short-circuit in-rush current originates at the instant the time reckoning is over, the time reckoning is started, the time being equal to the ALT station cut-in time delay. The time reckoning over, the short-circuit in-rush current appearance or the said current exceeding the ratings at the standby power source transformer busses are controlled. No-in-rush-current state a faulty operation of the ALT station controller.
EFFECT: expanded performances of circuitry automatics.
