FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and can be used for performing tamponade of vitreal cavity with perfluorine organic compounds when treating retina detachment. Three cannulae are installed in tunics of eye, in one of them irrigator is introduced, in the second - vitreotom, and in the third - lighter. Vitrectonomia is performed. Vitreotom and irrigator are changed over, vitrectomia in tissues, adjacent to previous place of irrigator fixation, is performed. Vitreotom is removed and irrigator is put back into its previous place. PFOC is introduced to the level of distal end of irrigator through cannula, in which vitreotom was. Level of fluid outflow from eye is regulated by changing height of distal end of irrigator and performing visual control of pressure of PFOC introduction by state of vessels of visual nerve disc. Then intraocular part of cannula with irrigator is inclined towards eye lens, after which additionally PFOC is introduced till vitreal cavity is fully filled. Endolasercoagulation of retina is performed, PFOC and cannulae are removed, sutures on eye tunics are applied.

EFFECT: ensuring full tamponade of vitreal cavity with reduction of risk of recurrence of retina displacement and improvement of eye grounds visualisation.
