METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF DISLOCATION OF THE LENS INTO THE VITREAL CAVITY, COMBINED WITH RETINAL DETACHMENT Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61F9/07

Abstract RU 2787147 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Vitrectomy is performed with simultaneous release of the lens from the fibers of the vitreous body (VB), the perfluoroorganic compound (PFOC) is injected. The lens is placed on the vitreal instrument, the lens is removed, the intraocular lens is implanted and fixed. In this case, a vitreotome with a caliber of 23 G is used, vitreous tweezers are used as a vitreal instrument, the lens is placed on it at 1/3 of its depth, the lens is removed with a vitreotome in layers, in a spiral, starting from the zone farthest from the tweezers, IOL RSP-3 is implanted mushroom type. The iris is sutured at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock, for which the needle is inserted into the anterior chamber through paracentesis at 9 o'clock, the iris is stitched at 12 o'clock 1-2 mm from the pupillary edge of the iris and it is removed through paracentesis at 3 o'clock. Then a knot is formed: a hook through the paracentesis at 9 o'clock pulls out the distal part of the thread with respect to the free end, and in relation to the paracentesis at 9 o'clock in the form of a loop outward and with two tweezers for tying through the loop, the proximal end of the thread is drawn three times. The opposite ends of the thread are pulled, tying a knot, the above steps are repeated to form a knot two more times, similarly forming a knot, stitching the iris at 6 o'clock.

EFFECT: method provides minimal trauma, reduces the number of postoperative complications, and achieves optimal anatomical and functional results.
