FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method of heavy oil residual treatment (fuel oil, oil tar, scavenge oils, oil sludge) involves heating of raw material to 430-450°C, further raw material processing by air and thermal cracking in offset reactor and separation of light oil products obtained. Before raw material treatment the air is heated to higher temperature than the temperature of raw material, and the heavy residues obtained by thermal cracking is fed to a hardener or flash tower. The invention also concerns a facility for heavy oil residual treatment.
EFFECT: increased treatment quality.
