FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a method involving pre-heating of flows of heavy oil residues and oxygen-containing gas till temperature of 430-460°C, their mixing and supply of the obtained steam-liquid mixture to a cracking reactor in the form of one or more flows, at least in one or more tangentially located branch pipes.
EFFECT: simpler process and lower yield of gaseous products.
