FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: super wide band transceiver antenna is arranged in the plane perpendicular to the screen and forming a funnel-like directional pattern in the plane of the electromagnetic radiation element, and, in orthogonal plane, incorporating the electromagnetic radiation element and the coaxial input. Note that the said antenna differs in that the electromagnetic radiation element represents a 0.2λl-high rectangular metal plate, where λl is the wave length of the frequency range lower boundary, the aforesaid plate beveled parallel to the screen plane. Note that the match band width is ensured by the optimum selection of bevel angle of the power and upper plate bases.
EFFECT: expanding band width to four octaves, smaller sizes, simpler design and higher electrical and mechanical strength.
