FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering, particularly to microstrip antennas. Disclosed is a directional antenna for generating and receiving an electromagnetic field of linear polarization with high cross-polarization isolation in two wide radio frequency ranges, containing a broadband radiator of the lower sub-range in the form of a rectangular metal active radiator with a resonance size of 0.5λmax, which is located above a metal screen with size of 0.8λmax×0.8λmax, at height of 0.035λmax, characterized in that at the resonant sides of the active radiator there are passive arc-shaped elements with a cut-out middle part; power supply of active radiator is performed by means of broadband asymmetric strip line, rectangular passive radiators with resonance size of 0.5λmin are located above the lower sub-range radiator at height of 0.05λmin; for excitation of passive radiators of the upper sub-range in the radiator of the lower sub-range, a slit line is cut out above the attachment point of the supply line of the antenna.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased compactness and reliability.
