FIELD: physics, computer equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to system of payments collection for use of roads. System contains vehicle with on-board computer of vehicle, artificial satellite and center of system data. On-board computer accepts radio signal from artificial satellite, calculates latitude, longitude and altitude as location of vehicle according to accepted radio signal and preserves it in external unit of data storage in the form of files sequential in time, which are sent to data center of the system, where data is accumulated into data storage unit for every vehicle. In center of system data section of paid road, on which the vehicle drove, is determined in accordance to transmitted data, which specifies history of vehicle position, preserved in data base. Payment for passage is calculated for every individual, who drives on paid road, according to data on payments for passage that are determined for every section of road, at that payments are collected by means of automatic charging of financial institution that was previously selected by individual, who drives on paid roads.

EFFECT: reduction of technical facilities with provision of payments collection automation.
