BATTERY ASSEMBLY COOLING SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC H01M10/50

Abstract RU 2336607 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly, to the cooling system of the battery assembly used as a power supply in electric motor cars and hybrids electric motor cars. The said system ensures an efficient dissipation of heat produced by the battery cells by feeding a coolant to the aforesaid cells and reducing the temperature difference between the cells in cooling thus ruling out the battery cells efficiency reduction and promotes an optimum temperature adjustment. Note also that the cooling system incorporates only one coolant guiding component arranged on one side of the said battery assembly which helps reduce the battery assembly sizes.

EFFECT: high-efficiency dissipation of heat produced by battery cells and reduction of temperature difference between cells in cooling.
