SUBSTANCE: case for an electric vehicle battery. The battery case consists of: a main body whose wall surfaces are formed by sheet metal processing; a cover closing the open portion of the main body; plate-type brackets for installing battery modules, wherein the plate brackets are attached to the side surfaces of the battery modules at certain distances from the wall surfaces of the main body; and a mold holding frame mounted on the bottom of the body to reinforce the bottom of the main body. Each of the plate-type brackets includes at least one of the following: a curved portion folded away from the plate surface to maintain and fix distances from the wall surfaces of the main body; and a support portion connected to the mold holding frame to support the battery module.
EFFECT: protection of battery cells from external influences.
