FIELD: electric vehicle industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a battery heating system (battery) for electric vehicles and to a storage battery. The heating system consists of a battery that serves as the electric vehicle's power source; a heater electrically connected in series with the battery; a switch that is installed in the wiring between the battery and the heater and is responsible for the switching function; a battery management system (BMS) that is connected to the battery to control battery operation and can provide a switching signal to the switch; and a temperature sensor that can detect the temperature of the battery and send a corresponding signal to the BMS. When the switch receives a signal from the BMS and performs switching, the switching is carried out according to the program prepared in advance before the turn-on signal, and the program can be carried out according to the temperature detected by the battery temperature sensor.
EFFECT: provision of means for effectively solving the problem of performance degradation and low efficiency of a battery for an electric vehicle under low temperature conditions.
